What is Forest Bathing ?

Forest bathing, also known as Shinrin-yoku, is the art of immersing yourself in the natural atmosphere of the forest, engaging all five senses to experience its healing presence. This Japanese practice promotes deep relaxation, mental clarity, and emotional well-being through intentional, meditative and mindful connection with nature.

Unlike a hike or nature walk, forest bathing invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and tune into the quiet rhythms of the natural world. With our gentle guidance, you’ll learn to shift your awareness outward to the sounds, scents, textures, and sights of the forest, and inward, as you reflect and reconnect with yourself.

Let the forest hold space for stillness, presence, and transformation.

Your guide

A gentle presence in the forest, and by your side.

Toni Gillson is a certified Forest Bathing guide who believes deeply in the healing power of nature. Her journey into forest therapy began as a personal exploration, a search for calm, clarity, and connection in the quiet presence of trees. What started as a private practice soon revealed itself as a profound path toward self-awareness, emotional balance, and inner stillness.

Today, Toni shares this gift with others through guided Forest Bathing experiences. Her sessions are gentle, grounding, and spacious, crafted to help you slow down, awaken your senses, and align with the natural rhythms of the forest. With warmth and empathy, she creates a safe and soulful space for each person’s unique journey.
